24 December 1940-20 October 2005Yang Amat Berbahagia Datin Paduka Seri Endon Mahmood, the wife of the Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Abdullah Hj. Ahmad Badawi, the fifth Prime Minister of Malaysia has left us at about 7.55 am this morning, after a long and hard battle against the big C. She was 64.
One of the identical twins born to Yang Berbahagia Dato' Mahmood Ambak and Yang Berbahagia Datin Mariam Abdullah, she is survived by two children, Kamaludin and Nori, and 4 grandchildren. She remains in our memories as a great woman who was HUGELY generous and loving. A motherly character who was in touch with her culture and traditional values, she will be greatly missed. May she now rest in peace. Al Fatihah.
